The Builder Coalition’s Affordable Housing Developer Fellowship convenes individuals and firms of color interested in pursuing private development of inclusive and affordable housing.

The program uses a case-study approach to lead participants through modules on financing, construction, and compliance. The program runs for a six month period, convening biweekly. Each session's interactive modules are led by subject-area experts. In addition, each participant is provided industry mentors who will meet with the fellow at regular intervals during the fellowship period. The fellowship culminates with each participating firm designing and presenting a proposed affordable housing development.

The program is sponsored in part by MassHousing and the Boston Planning Department.
