SEMINARS & CLINICS —
Our seminars and clinics offer short, practical learning experiences designed to help participants take immediate action. These sessions focus on common challenges that can slow down real estate projects or business growth, providing targeted guidance, tools, and connections. They complement our longer fellowship programs while remaining accessible to a broader audience.
-
The Ground Up Seminar offers the fundamental elements of our widely renowned Core Fellowship curriculum in a condensed and accessible manner, designed for those who are new to or considering entry into real estate development or investment.
The seminar will address capital sources, budgeting, zoning and permitting, and building a project team. Participants leave with core concepts and terminology to make a meaningful and productive start in the field, and a clear path to continue learning and growing. -
The Capital Readiness Clinic helps firms assess and strengthen their readiness to raise debt and equity capital. Led by technical experts, the virtual clinic will support participants with refining financial documentation, strengthening business positioning, and aligning with lender and investor expectations. The clinic concludes with clear next steps to improve bankability and prepares participants to effectively engage in TBC’s Capital Matchmaking Breakfast.
-
The Capital Management Clinic supports firms in managing capital responsibly after closing, including cash flow management, compliance, reporting, and investor relations. It is designed to help firms scale sustainably and protect long-term relationships with capital providers.
-
The Public Bids Clinic provides hands-on guidance for firms pursuing public and quasi-public development opportunities. The clinic covers RFP and RFQ strategy, procurement rules, team formation, and proposal development to improve competitiveness and bid success.
-
The Contracts/Legal Guidance Clinic is a practical clinic focused on negotiating and managing vendor and construction contracts. Participants strengthen their understanding of risk allocation, contract terms, and execution readiness for more complex projects.
