Two of the late Greg Bialecki’s former development colleagues and friends, Kyle Warwick and Dan O’Connell, have asked themselves that question when faced with a tough decision. That’s how much they valued Bialecki’s insight: They still turn to him for advice, a year after his death.
Warwick, founding principal of development firm Redgate, and O’Connell, a former state economic development secretary, recounted how Bialecki remains a presence in their lives, during an event at the Lenox Hotel hosted by The Builder Coalition on Nov. 17 to honor Bialecki. Coalition president Dave Madan announced his group created an award named after Bialecki to showcase leadership in inclusive development. (Madan presented the inaugural award to Bialecki’s family.)
